F. Poulenc: Dialogues of the Carmelites

About the production: The closer the anarchic chaos of the outside world approaches the monastery, the more compulsively the Carmelites will try to maintain their own order in order to prevent the monastery from falling apart. Their martyrdom is presented as a last radical attempt to restore the old world order.
